Position Overview: Commercial Security Installation Technician
  • Role Summary: As a prominent player in the commercial security sector, our organization is expanding rapidly. We focus on the design, engineering, installation, and maintenance of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
  • We are looking for skilled installation technicians to enhance our dedicated team. In this role, you will be tasked with the installation of hardware on various job sites, including corporate offices, educational institutions, and industrial facilities. While programming skills are a plus, they are not mandatory as we have dedicated personnel for that purpose. Each day, you will collaborate with your team lead at the office before proceeding to various locations using a company vehicle. Depending on the project requirements, you may interact with different teams and report to various leads throughout the week.
  • Work Schedule: Typical working hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, with potential for overtime. The workweek generally follows a Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Required Attire: Company-provided shirts are available, but you must wear appropriate work pants (no denim), boots, a hard hat, a hi-vis vest, and safety glasses. Additionally, you are expected to possess basic hand tools, including a screwdriver set, pliers, snips, and a punchdown tool.
  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in access control, video surveillance, low voltage systems, alarm systems, low voltage installation, and cabling.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the installation, wiring, and mounting of intrusion detection systems (IDS) or security systems is advantageous. Familiarity with brands such as Vista, Bosch, and DMP is a plus.
  • Experience Level: Intermediate Level
