We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our National Tax team as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing consulting services on compensation and benefits taxation and ERISA compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consulting services on compensation and benefits taxation and ERISA compliance.
  • Assess tax and ERISA issues regarding the establishment, implementation, and ongoing administration of both single and multi-employer retirement and welfare benefit plans.
  • Consult on issues related to tax-qualified and non-tax-qualified retirement plans and executive compensation arrangements.
  • Monitor and analyze new legislative, regulatory, and administrative comp and benefits tax and ERISA developments.
  • Assist with IRS and DOL compliance filings for benefit plans.
Requirements
  • Studying to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, J.D., J.D. with LL.M. in Taxation, or a Master's in Taxation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and using various software packages.
