Glenwood Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Weekend Supervisor. This position will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff on weekends, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Supervise and orient new nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assume leadership responsibilities on a per-shift basis, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- A current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing and supervisory capacity are preferred.
