Position: Laboratory Technician
Responsibilities:
- Entry-level position in the Complaint Investigations Laboratory.
- The Technician will be tasked with safely unpacking and categorizing returned products by their respective lines.
- Investigating returned items to address customer complaints related to blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors. Documentation of these investigations will be maintained in the Complaint Handling System.
- Utilizing troubleshooting tools such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and microscopes to carry out investigations.
- Preferred experience in the Medical Device or Biotech sectors.
- Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment is beneficial.
- Quick learning ability and adherence to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are preferred.
- Strong documentation skills are essential.
- Proficient computer skills are crucial, as data entry of investigation results is a primary responsibility.
- Ability to maintain focus during repetitive and routine investigations is necessary.
- This role is well-suited for individuals with backgrounds in Manufacturing, Inspection, and Assembly.
Educational Requirements:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (such as a GED) is required.
- An Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific field is highly desirable.
- Recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline may also be considered.
Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr
