Job Overview
347 Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Wildlife Ecologist to join our team in the Central Valley Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting wildlife monitoring and surveys to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in similar California environments and a strong understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct field inspections of proposed project areas to identify potential impacts on wildlife habitats.
  • Perform biological monitoring at construction sites to implement mitigation measures.
  • Record data for scientific and compliance purposes using established field methodology.
  • Use GPS equipment (Garmin/Trimble) for field data collection.
  • Travel to be in the field for extended periods and work in rough terrain and challenging weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Biology or closely related field.
  • Previous construction monitoring experience in similar California environments.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Team player with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Sound business ethics, including protection of proprietary and confidential information.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
