Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales and Merchandising Supervisor at Micro Center, you will be responsible for leading sales floor teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring sales floor associates are greeting and presenting product solutions to customers, meeting customer satisfaction standards
  • Overseeing the execution of visual merchandising and ad set standards within the department
  • Supervising freight flow and merchandise processing, including cycle counts and inventory control
  • Participating in department staffing, training, and scheduling to ensure competent associates are hired and trained
  • Providing coaching and feedback to associates to ensure sales presentation, customer satisfaction, and visual merchandising standards are met
  • Leading open and close procedures and serving as floor leader or manager-in-charge during store manager absences
  • Maintaining loss prevention awareness and supporting store operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Two or more years of experience in retail sales with direct accountability for achieving sales and customer service targets and merchandising standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple customers and technical expertise
  • Ability to generate sales and execute corporate initiatives
  • Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for prolonged periods
