Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer

About the Role:

Team Rehabilitation Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch athletic training services to our patients, including injury recognition and evaluation, first aid and emergency care, and rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Injury Recognition and Evaluation: Recognize and evaluate injuries to provide timely and effective treatment.
  • First Aid and Emergency Care: Provide first aid or emergency care as needed to ensure the health and safety of our patients.
  • Rehabilitation Programs: Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes to help them recover and return to their sport or activity.
  • Prevention and Education: Plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes, and provide education on injury prevention and management.
  • Outreach and Community Engagement: Serve as an Athletic Trainer in an outreach position in a large high school, providing athletic training services to students and staff.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen relationships with Team Rehabilitation Services, LLC and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care for our patients.
  • On-Site Services: Provide on-site athletic training services at practices, assigned games, and scrimmages to support our patients' athletic goals.
  • Patient Care: Provide excellent healthcare for our patients, ensuring they achieve good outcomes and are happy with their experience of physical therapy.
  • Protocol Development: Help develop protocols for the most common diagnoses we see, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Research and Development: Participate in research studies supported by Team Rehabilitation Services, LLC, staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in athletic training.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with industry developments by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Certification: Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.
  • Licensure: Licensed as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to manage the triage of athletes for further care and in developing relationships with athletes, parents, coaches, and school personnel.
