Job Summary

The Production Technician Level B is a mid-level position responsible for rebuilding and repairing legacy and 10K on-highway products. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rebuild and repair legacy and 10K on-highway products
  • Perform dynometer testing on rebuilt products
  • Use and maintain Allison Extranet
  • Recognize and replace bad or defective parts
  • Operate company forklift and maintain a clean driving record
  • Complete daily assignments from supervisor and maintain organized record keeping

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the individual must possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The following qualifications are required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record
  • Company forklift certification
  • E-learn online training completion
  • Strong mechanical ability
  • 75% knowledge of transmission operation and functions

Work Environment

The Production Technician Level B will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions and changing environments. The individual must be able to stand, lift, and work in confined spaces.
