We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our PICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to critically ill children and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 60 months of employment.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
