Radiology Department Leader in Denver

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished leader to serve as the Chair of Radiology at Denver Health Physicians. As a senior faculty member, you will be responsible for overseeing all radiologic services, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring excellence in clinical services, education, and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Provide comprehensive leadership for all radiologic services including Bone Densitometry (DEXA), Breast Imaging, CT, Diagnostic Radiography, Interventional Radiology (IR), MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound (US).
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to advance clinical services, professional performance, business operations, and medical education within the department.
- Clinical Services: Ensure the highest standards of patient care, driven by patient safety and clinical outcomes monitoring.
- Professional Development: Mentor and develop faculty, fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Eligible for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at CU SOM.
- Clinical Expertise: Recognized excellence in clinical care, teaching, mentoring, and research.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a leadership role within an academic medical center or similar setting.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Estimated Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience.
