About the Role

Happier at Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide in-home support services to our clients in Eastern North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or needs to the Service Supervisor.
  • Document each visit and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in home care or a related field preferred.
  • Criminal background check, Nurse Aide Registry, and current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions
  • Work in clients' homes, with occasional travel to agency offices.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
