Job Title: RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele - Nights

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mease Countryside Hospital. As a Registered Nurse on our Med Surg Tele unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Delegate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in professional development and accountability, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies.
  • Assume the role of preceptor and charge nurse as assigned, mentoring and leading colleagues to achieve excellence in patient care.
  • Direct contact with patients and families, providing personal care, assistance, and supervision as needed.

Requirements:
  • Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse), ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department.
  • Preferred Nurse Specialty: Education: Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing, Preferred Bachelor's Nursing.
  • Experience: Required experience includes 1 year RN Acute Care experience, OR 6 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.

Location: Mease Countryside Hospital, Status: Full Time, Exempt: No, Shift Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am, Weekend Work: Every Other, On Call: No, How often will this team member be working remotely? Never.
