Position: Diagnostic Radiologic Tech (General/Fluoroscopy)
Location: West Palm Beach, Florida

Responsibilities:
- Utilize all radiographic and fluoroscopic machinery; conduct various types of radiographic, tomographic, and fluoroscopic examinations.
- Rotate through multiple radiography rooms to maintain proficiency in all procedures and equipment.
- Independently execute examinations of the cranial area, full spine, thorax, abdomen, and limbs.
- Assist radiologists during intricate fluoroscopic procedures.
- Prepare contrast agents under the supervision of the radiologist for examinations requiring injectable solutions.
- Ensure the quality and quantity of radiographic examinations, minimizing patient exposure and controlling costs.
- Oversee the work activities of junior technologists/students and provide necessary guidance.
- Implement radiation safety protocols to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Maintain records and documentation of examinations performed on patients; make edits as necessary.
- Verify patient identity by confirming two approved identifiers verbally.
- Stay updated with current technical literature and assess new procedures and techniques.
- Explain procedures to patients, monitor vital signs, and identify allergic reactions.
- Conduct portable radiographic examinations at the bedside and in surgical settings.
- Ensure cleanliness and adequate supply levels in designated areas.
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT certifications.
- Adhere to infection control protocols as per Radiology Department policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- United States Citizenship.
- Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Completion of a full-time training program in diagnostic radiologic technology.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Work Schedule: Full Time, with multiple positions available for different shifts.
