Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team at Castaway Burbank. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Maintain a well-organized work area, adhering to Health Department standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide efficient and effective service.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a prep or line cook is required.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours, including most weekends and nights.
