About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to patients in their homes, including those in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, independent living, and twin homes.
  • Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for patients affected by injury or disease.
  • Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions, following established safeguards.
  • Document patient information for evaluation, establish therapeutic plans, and modify them as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their family members about treatment plans, schedules, and self-exercises to be continued at home.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and incorporate it into daily treatment of patients.
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Valid driver's license (when applicable).
  • Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
