Home Dialysis Nurse

Innovative Renal Care (IRC) is seeking a motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our team as a Home Training Registered Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering patients to take control of their dialysis treatments at home.
Job Summary:We are looking for a registered nurse with a passion for education and patient empowerment. As a Home Training Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for educating prospective patients on the benefits of home dialysis, training patients on their chosen modality, and collaborating with nephrologists to develop personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Educate patients on the comfort and freedom of home dialysis
- Train patients on peritoneal or home hemodialysis
- Collaborate with nephrologists to develop treatment plans
- Conduct educational workshops to keep the team up-to-date on the latest technologies and evidence-based practices
- Monitor patients' conditions and lab results to ensure safety and success
- Participate in on-call rotations with an answering service to provide support to patients outside of office hours
- Current state licensure as a registered nurse
- 12 months of experience in nursing
- Additional 3 months of experience with specific modality
- Valid Driver's License
- Current CPR certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to interpret documents and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
