YesCare Corp is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients referred by medical or clinical services staff.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Provide medication management and individual and/or group therapy as needed.
- Approve admissions and discharges into the mental health unit and monitor the implementation and efficiency of treatment plans.
- Participate in in-service education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Be available on a scheduled basis for on-call needs of the mental health unit.
- Graduate of medical school and completion of an appropriate psychiatric residency.
- Must be licensed to practice in the applicable state and certified by the Office of Mental Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit.
- Current DEA number required.
