About the Job: As a Radiation Therapist at RWJBarnabas Health, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered, high-quality care to individuals affected by cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and families on radiation therapy procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and complete therapy records for each patient.
- Review patient charts daily for changes to prescriptions, plans, calculations, and blocking.
- Administer radiation therapy safely and accurately in a timely manner according to established guidelines.
- Position patients according to instructions provided in the chart and deliver the prescribed radiation dose and treatment.
Requirements:
- BCLS certification.
- Current state of New Jersey license.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- Registered Radiation Therapist certification.
- Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology Program.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
