We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. as an Emergency Medical Technician in our Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Administer direct patient care to patients processed through the Emergency or Stress lab department, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals and policy procedures.
- Document patient information, medication administration, and interventions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in the care of patients' physical and emotional needs, communicating findings to appropriate healthcare providers.
- Active State of Georgia Paramedic license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in patient care setting as a trained paramedic
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk constantly, frequently
- Ability to push and pull frequently
