Position Overview

Join Our Team as a Lead Support Specialist

The Arc Western Montana is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Lead Support Specialist to become part of our organization. This position requires flexibility as you will be assigned to various residences during your shift, stepping in as necessary.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $18.50 per hour

Overnight Shift Premium: Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM

Sign-On Incentive: $300 for full-time positions

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
  • Ensure a clean and safe living environment.
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
  • Administer prescribed medications.
  • Prepare meals and assist with dining needs.
  • Facilitate community outings and recreational activities.
  • Monitor clients overnight to ensure their safety.
  • Support educational and skill development initiatives.
  • Utilize Mandt training techniques for behavior management.
Work Schedule:

Overnight Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Shift Requirements: This is an AWAKE overnight position, requiring staff to remain alert throughout the shift.

Employment Options:

Full-Time: 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
  • Compassionate and Respectful: A genuine passion for assisting others.
  • Dependable: Reliability is essential.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Background Screening: Must successfully pass all required checks.
  • Medication Certification: Must be certified through the State of Montana and complete The Arc Medication Practicum.
  • Driver's License: Must have held a valid driver's license for five years with a clean record for the last three years.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in English, including electronic communication.
  • Drug Testing: Required in accordance with state law.
  • Experience: Preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
