Engineering Expert

**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Rotating Machinery Services in Olean, NY. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead projects involving the inspection, disposition, modeling, and design calculations associated with multiple equipment lines.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for serving as a technical leader in the design, development, and analysis of product designs that meet the function, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements of RMS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and analyze product designs to ensure they meet the functional, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements of RMS.
• Continuously hone engineering skills to the highest level through training and professional development.
• Provide guidance and support to lower-graded engineers, sharing knowledge and serving as a mentor.
• Lead engineering analyses for projects to include complex designs and advanced calculations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to communicate results and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency with the engineering technical disciplines of RMS product lines.
• Proficiency with fundamental design aspects and operation of the full range of RMS' entire product line.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 annual salary based on experience.
