About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Technical Manager to join our team in Amazon's Advanced Products Operations group. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for bringing new products from engineering to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of manufacturing test, design and OEM engineers to introduce new products from engineering to production.
- Work strategically with multiple core and product teams to improve FATP processes across products.
- Work independently on complex problems, advising and providing leadership to other MTMs.
- Collaborate with OEMs New Product Operations teams to identify and escalate manufacturing challenges by enforcing DFM and DFT principles.
- Develop and drive best practices across operations, hardware and software engineering departments.
About You
You must have 6+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience, 5+ years of technical product or program management experience, and 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience. Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules is also required.
