Job Summary and QualificationsWe are looking for a skilled and empathetic Electrophysiology Technician for a full-time role. In this position, you will welcome patients, provide comfort, and assist in their transport to the EP Lab. In the lab, you will support the physician during invasive electrophysiology procedures. If you are a qualified professional with a caring demeanor, we invite you to consider joining our exceptional team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing necessary supplies and equipment for procedures.
- Assisting in patient positioning and comfort.
- Upholding sterile techniques throughout the procedures.
- Monitoring patients during procedures while assisting the physician.
- Organizing equipment for cleaning and sterilization post-procedure.
- Transporting patients to recovery as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist).
- Minimum of two years of experience in Electrophysiology.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and understanding of interventional devices and procedures.
