Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nephrology Nurse to join our team in this exciting opportunity.

About the Role:

This is an entry-level position for RNs with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience within the last two years or for RNs with a BSN and less than 1 year of nephrology nursing experience within the last two years. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to the overall success of our dialysis center.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment

Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Administers medications as prescribed, documents medical justification and effectiveness, and ensures correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures

Participates in quality improvement activities, including data collection and analysis, to enhance patient care outcomes and facility operations

Serves as a resource for healthcare team members, participates in staff training and orientation, and supports the FMCNA's mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

Successful completion of FKC Education and Training requirements for new employees

Successful completion and maintenance of CPR BLS Certification

Meet all conditions of employment, including Ishihara's Color Blindness Test
