Position Summary:

The Field Technician - Equipment Operator is tasked with the operation of various cleaning machinery including pressure washers, industrial vacuums, floor scrubbers, and sweepers to ensure efficient job completion.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lift up to 40lbs while adhering to OSHA lifting standards.
  • Safely load and unload equipment from vehicles for transport.
  • Drive and maneuver heavy machinery with care.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment performance as necessary.
  • Maintain the Preventative Maintenance schedule and report any issues.
  • Document equipment problems with detailed information.
  • Clean equipment post-use and manage waste disposal.
  • Perform minor repairs as required.
  • Stay focused and aware of surroundings in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Meet strict deadlines and adapt to changing work conditions.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year in a similar role
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficient in reading and interpreting safety documents and operating instructions.
  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment safety protocols.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination for operating machinery controls.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment effectively.
  • Capacity to remain seated for extended periods while operating machinery.
  • Problem-solving skills for diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Effective oral communication skills for collaboration on-site.
  • Basic writing skills for report completion.
  • Good driving history reflecting safe driving habits.
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
  • Multitasking capability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed.
