Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to provide direct clinical patient care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and families on health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure competency and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of experience in a Med Surg setting preferred.
