Job Overview
We are seeking highly motivated Tax Preparation Specialists to join our team. As a Tax Preparation Specialist at Jackson Hewitt, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for tax preparation
- Analyze and resolve any issues or discrepancies found during the tax preparation process
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and tax preparation activities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
