As a key member of our childcare center, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants, implementing age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development, and ensuring the well-being of each child.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants in a childcare center setting.
- Implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Ensure the well-being of each child by attending to their individual needs.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive classroom environment.
- Utilize best practices in infant care and early childhood education.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to a positive learning experience.
Requirements:
- Experience with infants in a childcare setting.
- Able to receive a clean background check.
- Reliable transportation.
- Classroom experience with infants.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs, stand, sit, and squat the majority of the day.
- Be a team player, flexible, and able to get along with others.
- Be dependable and come to work every day.
- CDA, TCC, or degree a plus.
- CPR, Fire Safety, and First Aid Certified a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-time position.
- $13.00 - $15.00 per hour.
- No weekends.
