Overview:
Join the Alamogordo Public Schools team as an Agricultural Education Intern. This role is designed for current students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of agriculture within the Career and Technical Education (CTE) department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the agricultural requirements of the CTE department.
  • Assist with various CTE tasks and provide essential support to the CTE team.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain the greenhouse and garden, ensuring all agricultural needs are met efficiently.

Qualifications:
Applicants should be current students at Alamogordo High School with a strong interest in agriculture. Preferred candidates will have completed coursework in agriculture and possess:
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying supplies.
  • A capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Punctuality and reliability.

Compensation:
$15.00 per hour

Conditions of Employment:
