French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer for Structural Solutions to join our team in Wall Township, New Jersey.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented engineer with at least 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering to work on a variety of projects. As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for leading structural analysis and modeling of foundations, superstructures, lateral loads resisting systems, MEP/Solar Energy/Telecommunication/Architectural Feature supports. You will also assist senior engineers in preparing construction documents within a Revit/CAD environment and perform field work to document existing structural dimensions and properties for analysis use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural analysis and modeling of various size buildings, infrastructures, and materials
  • Familiarity with building codes and industrial standards, including IBCs, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and NDS, etc.
  • Proficient in multiple Structural Software including RAM, STAAD Pro, EnerCalc, ETABs, PCA and tnxTower
  • Leading teams on structural projects and collaborating with other disciplines on non-structural projects
  • Regional and occasional out-of-state travel required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent is required
  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering
Compensation and Benefits
