Geriatric Psychiatrist

MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a skilled Geriatric Psychiatrist to lead our new 15-bed unit, providing intensive care for older adults with complex mental health needs.

• Provide clinical services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring medical stability and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical protocols, regulations, and best practices in geriatric psychiatry.

• Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
• Board certification in psychiatry and current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances.
• One or more years' postgraduate practice experience preferred.
