Primary Counselor

Eva's Village is seeking a skilled Primary Counselor to provide comprehensive treatment services to clients struggling with substance use disorder. As a key member of our clinical team, you will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director/Clinical Supervisor to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, as well as psycho-education classes, to promote client growth and development.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and continuum of care referrals.
• Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Perform crisis intervention and provide support to clients in emergency situations.

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) is required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
