At Summit Place, a thriving senior living community, we are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to provide exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role:
- Provide hands-on care and support to residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Assist with medication administration, documenting and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Engage residents in activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift, observing and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Document and maintain accurate records of resident care, including medication administration and vital signs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Assist with continence management, serving and collecting food trays, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Engage residents in activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medication Aide certification required.
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- CPR Certification preferred.
- First Aid Certification preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
