About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of our line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds, utilizing multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and roofing.
  • Conduct face-to-face relationships with customers to ensure their requirements are met.
  • Utilize company-provided technology, including tablets and smartphones, to access and complete work orders, create and submit service reports, and submit timesheets and expense reports.
  • Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks and maintain a positive climate with customers.
  • Complete EFS required safety and compliance training and attend weekly safety meetings.
  • Provide estimates for larger projects and services as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or degree/certification in a related field, or equivalent professional experience in landscaping, trades, or specialty floor care.
  • Two to five years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write routine reports, and effectively present information in individual and small group settings.
  • Ability to use and operate handheld devices and business systems, including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
Work Environment

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. Required to drive a company vehicle daily.
