Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Wound Care Travel Nurse RN to join our team in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Travel Nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a Wound Care Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in wound care management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide wound care services to patients with various types of wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and surgical wounds.
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans to promote healing and prevent further complications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of South Dakota.
  • Experience in wound care management, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve patient care goals.
