Perinatal Special Care Unit Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Perinatal Special Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to families in our Perinatal Special Care Unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and babies in the Perinatal Special Care Unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs and medical equipment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience
