Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in Calhoun, Georgia.

Job Summary:

The Electrophysiology Technician will assist cardiovascular physicians in performing and completing invasive diagnostic therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in labs using advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including electrocardiogram machines and defibrillators.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Assist in performing and recording diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms and echocardiograms.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and test results.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and medical equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
