At Midas, we prioritize quality service for our customers' vehicles, focusing on inspection, diagnosis, and repair. Our technicians leverage their expertise, whether gained through ASE Certifications or extensive hands-on experience in automotive repair.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities

As an automotive technician at Midas, you will be responsible for a diverse array of repairs and maintenance tasks, including:

  • Tire services and repairs
  • Heating and air conditioning systems
  • Steering and suspension work
  • Belts and hoses replacement
  • Radiator and engine cooling system maintenance
  • Battery, starting, and charging system services
  • Brake system repairs
  • Oil change services
  • Diagnostics for check engine light issues
  • Exhaust system services
  • Visual safety inspections
  • Utilizing advanced diagnostic computer systems
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to independently repair vehicles while also being a strong team player
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive brake, exhaust, and suspension systems
  • Experience with diagnostics
  • Demonstrated history of high productivity
  • Understanding of safety and environmental regulations in repair settings
  • Familiarity with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
  • State-specific automotive repair certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Possession of personal tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner/tools preferred)
  • Able to service both domestic and foreign vehicles
