We are seeking an experienced and proactive Landscape Construction Project Supervisor to oversee our diverse range of landscaping initiatives. This role involves working closely with clients, suppliers, and departmental leaders to manage both commercial and residential landscaping projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement multi-zone irrigation systems tailored to specific project requirements, utilizing knowledge of meter sizes, pressure, and flow rates.
- Oversee the installation of hardscapes, retaining walls, lighting, and plant selections, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Recruit, train, and lead construction teams, fostering a culture of respect, integrity, and teamwork.
- Coordinate project schedules, labor needs, and material procurement, adjusting as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Interpret and manage project contracts and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Work collaboratively with department managers to adapt project priorities based on evolving client needs.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain accurate records of crew attendance and project progress.
- Utilize workflow management systems to track labor hours and project costs, engaging with finance teams to analyze budget variances.
- Embody the company values of respect, integrity, and customer focus, building strong relationships with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in project management or supervision within the landscape construction or irrigation sector.
- Proven ability to design and execute multi-zone irrigation systems based on comprehensive landscape plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Pacific Northwest flora, including common diseases and care techniques.
- Valid driver's license and insurance, with the ability to pass a background check.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within two months of hire.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
- Consistent attendance and the ability to perform physical tasks associated with job site conditions.
