About the Role

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide direct care to patients and families, working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide relationship-based care to patients and families, engaging in therapeutic communication and rapport-building
  • Work in a milieu setting to manage patients and families, providing direct care in collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient-centered care
  • Participate in Psychiatric Educational groups, leading and co-leading therapeutic sessions to promote positive outcomes

Qualifications
  • Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA accredited institutions
  • Active Ohio RN License; may be required to obtain other state licensure
  • Foreign graduates must have license validated through CGFNS per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates
  • Preferred: BSN from ACEN or CCNE accredited institution or MSN
  • Must be able to pass physical agility test and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Certification Course
