About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Deli Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a Deli Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products, maintaining proper shelf, case, and display conditions.
  • Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, and cleaning.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as they apply to the deli area.
  • Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service, answering questions, making recommendations, and promoting products through suggestive selling.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing for 55% of the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Temperatures may range from freezer environments to back rooms that are not air-conditioned.
