Job Description

The Davis Companies is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the selection and optimization of SMT/SMD equipment, as well as the operation of SMT equipment in support of production and process development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement optimum production processes, including solder paste selection, reflow profiles, stencil designs, and component feeder setup methodology.
  • Develop and implement process and capacity utilization strategies for SMT assembly operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of production processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in SMT assembly and inspection processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of surface mount and through-hole technologies.
  • Familiarity with IPC/EIA J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Working knowledge of printed circuit board CAD data and assembly equipment programming software.
