About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech language therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Assess patients with communication and swallowing disorders to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement effective speech language therapy programs to maximize patient outcomes and improve functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Provide Education and Training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication and swallowing disorders and their management.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices and evidence-based research to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Washington State Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • 1 year of experience in hospital-wide settings with speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders and dysphagia.
  • Diagnostic experience with MBS procedures.
