ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a dependable and proficient logistics and inventory specialist. This role encompasses responsibilities related to distribution, inventory management, and the operation of material handling equipment. Your efforts will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily inventory activities, including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Receive incoming shipments and allocate them to designated storage locations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of orders processed.
  • Construct containers and/or pallets for outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations established by the company.
  • Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting or familiarity with inventory and shipping processes is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

SKILLS AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Ability to effectively operate a computer scanner or willingness to learn.
  • Physical capability to bend, kneel, stand, walk, and reach for a minimum of 8 hours daily, 5 days a week.
  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs. repetitively and 50-70 lbs. occasionally throughout the shift.
  • Physical ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, bending, stooping, crawling, and overhead tasks, including climbing and working on ladders.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to maintain focus while working independently.
  • A general enthusiasm for creative problem-solving.
