Meat and Poultry Procurement Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Procurement (Meat & Poultry) to play a key role in our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food procurement, particularly in meat and poultry, as well as a deep understanding of supply chain processes.
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy to establish supply sources, maximize current and future market conditions, and define contingency planning to ensure critical supplies are met.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic agreements and key supplier relationships, including performance metrics, business reviews, and escalation management.
- Lead cost savings initiatives, risk avoidance, and process improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.
- Proven procurement leadership experience or experience in related operational fields such as manufacturing, logistics, operations, or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of operational aspects of the company, from raw materials to delivering to customers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
