Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress.
- Monitor and record patient condition, including vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
- Communicate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry unit or similar setting.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as Critical Care or Telemetry.
