Aerospace Fabrication Specialist

The Staffing Resource Group, Inc is seeking an experienced Aerospace Fabrication Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and repairing soft-goods components and assemblies.

• Fabricate and assemble soft-goods components and assemblies using industrial sewing machines and other specialized equipment.
• Repair and maintain existing soft-goods components and assemblies to ensure high-quality products.
• Monitor machine operation to detect problems and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Measure and examine finished articles to verify conformance to standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of related experience in industrial sewing and highly detailed sewing.
• Proficient in the use and operation of industrial sewing machines, including straight stitch, walking foot, bartack, buttonhole and 3 thread rolled hem serger.
• Ability to read and interpret soft-goods fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Ability to sew materials by hand and/or sewing machine to tight tolerances.
• Ability to cut materials according to specifications using blades, scissors or electric knives.

$27-$28 per hour DOE.
