Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Tillamook, Oregon. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, as ordered by physicians.
Key Responsibilities- Position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjusting x-ray equipment and determining proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient exams, positioning patients for imaging exams, and monitoring patients to ensure safety during exams.
- Document exam information, verify exams on PACS, and report important information to physicians.
- Associate's Degree in Radiological Technology (preferred)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
