Position Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to contribute to Tetra Tech's High Performance Building Division. This role involves conducting field assessments and analyzing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of electrical processes.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications and documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Perform service load calculations to optimize system performance.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the architectural and MEP consulting sectors.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • PE certification or the ability to secure licensure.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Power system modeling software is essential. Familiarity with NEC regulations is required, and additional certifications such as RCDD or LC are advantageous.

Travel Requirements

This position may necessitate travel to client locations and project sites, thus a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
