Senior Landscape Architect

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Landscape Architect to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will work closely with project managers, land use planners, civil engineers, and other design professionals to deliver high-quality landscape architecture projects.

• Coordinate with clients, jurisdictions, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Develop and implement landscape design concepts, including site planning, hardscaping, and softscaping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
• Prepare and present design proposals, including sketches, renderings, and written descriptions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance and quality.
• Manage and mentor junior design staff to ensure successful project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect in Oregon or Washington State, or ability to obtain reciprocity.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, methods, and techniques, as well as local jurisdictional requirements.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
